Wow, that was fast!

It seems like only yesterday we arrived in Ho Chi Minh, ready for anything; now I find myself in Hong Kong, on my way back to New York, waiting to board my connecting flight. :-\

What a trip it has been! This has definitely been one of the most memorable experiences of my life, and in no small part to the enthusiastic efforts of Janice, to whom I owe immeasurable thanks for not only organizing the majority of our travels but also documenting our experiences for everyone to enjoy for years to come.

Sincerely, thank you! I think I speak for everyone when I say that we're greatly looking forward to hearing about the remainder of your trip.

After a fantastic culinary experience in Hanoi, we parted ways as Hiền and I took off to catch our flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. I spent the next two days with Hiền and her family, saying our final goodbyes, eating some delicious home cooking, and planning our next meeting. I am hoping that Hiền will be able to visit the states later this year, and if so, I expect everyone to find some time to come meet her!

I myself will be be going back for the new year next February. I am officially extending an open invitation to anyone who would like to join me, Bobby, and his family for food, fun, and possibly some more adventure!

Xin chào!
