Huh?
Ya' gotta love the silly things--slightly off translations (recycle those?!) , packaged-food oddities (prawn chips, egg cookies, and the melon-seed candy Dan and I sampled labeled: "Always Fresh! Smells Delicious!"), sad little museum dioramas, and my new favorite cute thing: toothpaste "ampules"! (The one pictured is actually on the larger side.)

Hi Janice,
Sounds like you are feeling better. GREAT! It is simply amazing all of the things that you are getting a chance to experience. "Trip of a life time". I saw the picture of you standing in the door way of a temple, I think when you were in Ankgor. My first thought was, WOW with all of that rock in one place like that, what a great place for a stone quarry. You could run that all through a ROCK CRUSHER and make various products, the hell with the building. I'm laughing to myself, I am just kidding of course.
Contunue having a wonderful time, I think of you often.
Peter
Because the only good rock is a crushed rock, right? ;) heh-heh.
Yes, I am feeling better. I took azithromycin, which I'd brought from home. I'd have taken it sooner, except that I was afraid it might be premature, not really bacterial after all and then, if I got sick again later--REALLY sick--I'd have no antibiotics. Ah, well, water under the bridge. I'm now well and happy, and although it compromised my fun, it didn't ruin it.
